1. For a shared room with two double beds, the cost is $4500 per guest. If you're traveling with a friend, you can specify your roommate. If not, we'll match you to an attendee. If a third person will be sharing your room (agreed upon by both full-priced guests), the cost for the third person is $2000. That would mean two people will be sharing one of the beds. (Note a $500 discount for payment in full.)

2. For a private room with one king sized bed, the cost is $5500 per guest. If you have one additional guest who will be sharing the king bed, the cost for the addtional guest is $2000. (Note a $500 discount for payment in full.)

If available in your state (not all states allow it), we recommend you also purchase "Cancel For Any Reason" travel protection. That insurance will provide up to 75% refund of your non-refundable travel costs if you need to cancel for any reason (with at least 48 hour notice prior to leaving for your trip), in addition to other benefits. After October 15, 2023, we can't offer any refunds but your travel insurance may provide coverage.

This is your retreat so you get to choose your own adventure.

- Write your next great novel in your room, by the pool, on the beach, at a restaurant, in the bar, where ever you're most inspired.

- Join impromptu writing and publishing workshops on a myriad of topics. Let us know what you need help with and we'll work together to get you past any blocks you're experiencing. Topics can include anything from narrating to translations to formatting to marketing and everything in between.

- Work on any projects you've been putting off and need a few days of uninterrupted "work time" to get started or finished.

Meals will be provided and available 24/7 so you don't have to set any alarms, be on any schedule, or coordinate times. Show up when and where you want to...or find a quiet corner and enjoy so "you time." 

We've all seen the horror stories of bad things happening to tourists abroad. And anywhere you travel, you have to be smart about where you go and the risks you take. That's why we only select locations that are in highly secure locations that take guest safety very seriously. We've personally traveled to this resort in the past few months and never felt uncomfortable or like we were in any kind of danger. That said, we stayed on the resort premises the entire time. 

As long as you stay in secure locations and only travel using transportation provided by the hotel, you'll have nothing more to worry about than if you were in Chicago or San Francisco or NYC. 

If your family is over the age of 18, they are welcome to join you. The resort is for adults-only, so no kids allowed. But if you'd like to double your writing retreat as a family vacation, that's fine. Just choose the rooming options that work best for you. Note that only three people are permitted per room, so plan on multiple rooms if your group has more than three adults in it.

*But between you and me, isn't this a great excuse to get away from the family and focus on yourself??? This is a working trip so you have an excuse (and the tax write off) to just peace-out of your home responsibitlies and enjoy some R&R. But if you want to bring the fam, you're welcome to.
